Frequently asked questions
Water you can provide via garden hose or an Alupex pipe (with appropriate couplings). In freezing periods, preparation is important. This is explained in the technical brochure.
Electricity is done via a CEE connection. We will give you the practical checklist after request.
In the Tiny House comes all the drain out at the same point. As a tenant, you provide utility connections with a 110mm PVC pipe. (Some tiny houses, 40mm is sufficient)
We prefer to deliver on a solid/paved surface.
On grass is also possible, subject to preparation so that delivery and collection can go smoothly. This is then further agreed and varies according to the situation (what period and how is the passage).
As a Tiny House specialist, we can offer these unique tiny houses for rent at very attractive prices.
The cost varies. You pay a monthly rent, a one-off transport cost and an insurance cost at your location. The one-off transport cost is 375 euros for delivery and collection. Prices vary per period and per model from 600 euros (excluding VAT) per month to 900 euros (excluding VAT) per month. Insurance is 34 euros excluding VAT per month.
To put a tiny house in during your renovations, you do not need a permit in Belgium and the Netherlands.
At Flanders this is exempt via the Exemptions Decree (Article 7, §1, 1°). In Wallonia this is often allowed without a permit, but it is best to contact the municipality. For long-term renovations, you will then get a permis temporaire. In Netherlands the temporary placement of a residential unit during a conversion falls under the Environmental Law Decree (Bor), specifically Annex II, which contains rules for permit-free construction.
